One of the best things about sharing our world with wildlife is how unpredictable those animals can be. Of course, that can be a bad thing if they happen to be in a grumpy mood, but the critters below are definitely offering a kind gesture to the tourists they spot on the road.
It's never a good idea to approach a wild animal on your own, even in a situation like this where you're invited to drive through their home at Jasper National Park in Canada. However, these friendly goats were the ones who marched right up to the vehicle to enjoy a strange snack: the dust from their car.
I've seen goats do pretty unusual things before, like the one who was given a police escort back to his home, but I had no idea they were so fond of the gunk that gathers on the outside of our cars! The tourists are just as baffled as they record the whole bizarre encounter.
Other onlookers pause by their car, too, when they see the three of them chowing down like it's the best meal they've ever had. I suppose it is rare for them to get such a treat, and perhaps this couple's car is perfectly "well done."
It definitely made for a memorable day for the lucky folks sitting inside. I'm glad they were able to capture it to show the rest of us, too!
