They Built A Stunning Traditional Shepherd’s Hut With A Flawless Interior

For the past few years, a wonderful new trend has rapidly caught on: that of "mobile living" — or, spending time living and traveling in tiny homes.

We've seen so many creative tiny home designs, from studios built on top of old farm trucks, to homes that are lifted up into the sky.

Granted, tiny houses have been around for ages. Shepherd's huts, for example, were wagons that were used from the beginning of the 19th century by farmers during periods of sheep raising and lambing. Often, these huts had iron wheels and corrugated iron roofs. But in the 20th century, with the progression of electrical machinery for farming, the hut's popularity dwindled.

That is, however, until one couple decided to keep the spirit of these beautiful huts alive. Based in Warwickshire, a region in central England, Riverside Shepherd Huts has manufactured more than ten special huts, all of which can be visited and "tried out" by the public.

Of all its delightful features, the best has to be its "wall bed" (for which this particular home is named). During the day, you'll see only an inconspicuous handle on the wall.

But pull it down at night, and it reveals a cozy and plush bed.

In addition to the foldout bed, there are hidden tables, a sofa, and storage space concealed in nooks and crannies. It's perfect for a simplistic and mobile life.

The pair have already sold two of these "wall bed" huts since their inception — and it's no wonder why. These tiny homes are beautiful, convenient, and a lovely little slice of history!
