Construction and architecture is difficult stuff, and there's a reason people spend years in school to perfect their building and design skills. Of course, as we've seen many times from all professions, just because you're educated in a subject doesn't mean you're immune from making mistakes. And when it comes to installing doors or constructing roads, what seems like a "little" mistake can end up being a huge problem.
Maybe it's not right to laugh at other people's misfortune, but when the results that it causes are as hilarious as these cringeworthy cooking fails, it's pretty hard not to snicker. When it comes to construction oopsies, though, the consequences are sometimes a bit more inconvenient (and expensive) than having to throw away your burnt dinner and ordering pizza instead. Just like this guy who spent hours installing a cat door for his kitty only to discover that it wasn't really necessary in the first place, some builders and architects commit errors that leave their clients shaking their heads.
If you need a laugh today, check out these major construction fails that will leave you completely baffled. I'm no professional, but I don't see how anyone could start building number 5 and think, "Yep, this is looking great." Nobody's perfect, but these mistakes are enough to make you shed a tear for humanity.
