Have you ever felt like you have nothing left to give, but then one tiny act of kindness gives you the energy to keep pushing on?
Acts of kindness, big and small, have a huge impact on the world, like we saw with the quiet couple that paid a 130 percent tip on a hot dog.
When a stranger pays for your coffee, it might turn a bad day around, but it might also inspire you to go out and change the world!
Of course, a lot of the time when you perform an act of kindness, you don't get to know how things turned out. It's not that you want gratitude and attention, you just want to know that your actions changed something for the better.
That's why we love a story recently shared to Love What Matters, where a young mom fighting through cancer treatment reveals exactly what a stranger's kindness meant to her and her two kids. We hope her kind stranger sees this!

"To the woman who stopped to walk her pony with us in Magna, UT, thank for your kindness.
"Our day started out the same way it has for a few months. I was cold and exhausted, feeling queasy, honestly I looked and felt like death.
"But it was my baby boy's third birthday and I was determined to make it a great one."
"You see, I'm a 24-year-old mom of 2 gorgeous babies, I've been diagnosed with cancer and I had done four rounds of chemo, back to back, so that I could take a break leading up to his birthday.
"It was so important for me to feel better for him."
"And while we tried to give him a great birthday, I had woken up that morning feeling absolutely horrible.
"We had cake and ice cream, opened presents, and played games, all while I curled up on the couch."
"When me sweet boy asked, 'Mommy hold me?'
"How could I explain that my skin hurt when touched? Or that the smell of his hair made me nauseous? I couldn't. So I held him."
“Later that afternoon, I had promised we’d go to Build a Bear to get him something special, and it was so hard to keep that promise. Mentally, I complained, but on the outside, I was smiling and watching him get excited.”
“We stopped at the gas station to top off on gas, and that’s when you pulled in with your small horse trailer, you took out your white pony and began to walk her.”
“You could hear my kids squealing, ‘Mommy look at her horse! Can we pet it?’
“I didn’t want to bother you so I turned to tell them no right when you shouted, ‘Would your kids like a ride?’
“And you let them both ride your beautiful pony named Snow. You saw their smiles and you heard them thank you.”
“But you didn’t hear my boy as we drove away.
“‘Best birfday ever!’ he yelled.’
“And you didn’t see me cry my happy tears. Tears of gratitude that somehow, you stopped and offered my kids a ride I couldn’t give them.
“You helped me make his day memorable, and I’m forever grateful for your kindness.”
For this young mom suffering through chemo for the sake of her kids, there's no doubt that her mysterious stranger with the white pony came at just the right moment.
