There's almost nothing more exciting than adding a new member to the family — whether it's a human baby or a new pet! When there are kids involved, there are many creative ways to break the news and surprise them. One mom already had to reveal the news to her ever-growing brood at least 17 times before, and for her 18 time, she chose to use a teddy bear to reveal the gender of the baby. And these thoughtful parents pretended to give their daughter a stuffed animal before they swapped it for a real puppy!
Now this awesome dad has come up with a creative way to catch his two kids off-guard with a new family member. He disguised the moment as a magic trick, which he performs in front of the whole family. He sets up a small table in the room, then starts his neat little trick.
He claims that he needs to find an object to "shrink" to show off his power. But instead of taking any old object, he chooses the family dog! He tells his kids to say good-bye, then leads the pup behind the curtain. When he reemerges, the leash is attached to a stuffed dog!
But that's not the end of the trick. Dad says that there was a little mistake, and he needs his magic box…
