When Scooby's owner passed away, this senior dog ended up in an animal shelter.
This happens more often than you'd think. Unfortunately, sometimes the unthinkable happens before proper plans are able to be made.
Another sad fact is that many of the dogs in this situation are older in age, since they've been with one family for their whole lives. This makes them less adoptable for prospective dog parents, because more people are looking for younger pups to grow with their own family. But senior dogs are just as lovable as any other dog. When you adopt a senior, you know exactly who you're bringing into your home, too. With a puppy, you can't be sure what their personality will turn into. With an older, wiser dog? What you see is what you get.
Scooby wasn't having much luck at the shelter. His coat was getting shaggy and he no longer looked much like a cocker spaniel.
That's when Hollywood Groomers stepped in.
Scooby's such a good boy while the groomer gives him, a sudsy bath, a fresh new haircut, and even a fancy accessory to show off.
When you see what Scooby's doing now, you won't be disappointed. Not only does he have a second chance at life, but he's also helping others in need.
Now that's what I call a happy ending to a sad story.
