The University of Augsburg in Bavaria, southern Germany, has an unofficial mascot. A ginger kitty aptly named Campus Cat sneaks off from her owner every day to visit the university. Her reason? She wants some snuggles! She comes onto campus and finds a good snuggle partner daily. Where was my Campus Cat when I went to college?
Students love the cozy cat! She's a favorite on campus, and many people post pictures of her on social media whenever they see her.

When she was just 1, this kitty began heading out to campus. Her owner knows where she goes and is OK with her new job as a campus mascot!
It's unknown what Campus Cat's real name is, but many students have come to call her Sammy.
Like most cats, she enjoys lounging in the sun whenever she gets a chance. However, her favorite spot on campus happens to be the library.
Sammy loves lounging in people's laps while they are in the library. Or she enjoys stealing a seat when it's vacated!
"It became almost a routine and took away the stress from everyone a bit," one student told LoveMeow.
