When two animal lovers ventured out for a neighborhood stroll one evening, rogue meowing stopped them dead in their tracks.
Imgur user StonemonkeyKing and his wife spotted a few helpless kittens, freezing cold and barely moving, in their neighbor's pickup truck bed.
Unsure of whether or not these little cuties' mother was nearby, the couple waited right by the kittens' side for a bit. However, when no mother cat showed, they swiftly shuttled the cats into their home, desperate to keep them breathing.
They placed all of the kittens in a little box, filled with blankets and a heating pad.
Thanks to these rescuers' quick thinking and diligent snuggling, all of the kittens eventually warmed back up to their appropriate body temperatures and instantly fell head over heels in love with their new family.
Along with a mom and dad, these three lucky kittens gained two new siblings as well — one puppy and one baby — during this debacle. Now, this big, happy family is the snuggliest bunch of cuddlers you've ever seen.

A few months ago, Imgur user StonemonkeyKing and his wife came upon a few struggling little kittens.
They were lying alone, in the bed of a neighbor's pickup truck, barely moving and freezing cold.
The couple waited for a while, hoping these precious beauties' mom would show, but she never did.
So, these animal lovers brought the three little kittens inside and snuggled them back to their appropriate body temperatures.
To keep these cuties feeling warmer, their new dad outfitted their little box with ample blankets and a toasty warm heating pad.
One little kitten in particular was barely moving. So his new dad snuggled him, chest to chest, for 20 full minutes. In time, he cried that first wonderful cry.
In time, their curious kitten instincts began resurfacing.
They each instantly took to their new dad, showering him in cuddles — especially close to feeding time.
Once it became clearer that each of these three kittens would absolutely survive, this couple officially welcomed their three newest family members into the fold by gifting them adorable new names — Squishy, Lazarus, and Lou.
Along with gaining two awesome new parents, these lucky kittens also got two new siblings after surviving this ordeal — a 12-week old puppy and a 10-month old baby.
Now, these lucky kittens have all sorts of different snuggle buddies to cuddle all day long.
With their dad on their side, these precious pumpkins with likely never have to fear the freezing cold ever again.
These animal lovers' swift actions gifted three adorable kittens beautiful second chances at life and a loving new family to enjoy along the ride.
