Meet Frenchy. Frenchy performs in Fairy Festivals located in the United Kingdom and lives in a self-built old-fashioned-style vardo.
This beautiful tiny home caravan is wonderfully quaint, sustainable, and off-grid. Frenchy was inspired by the traditional horse-drawn wagons that she’d see at the festivals.
These wagons were used by British Romani people as their homes from the mid-1800s through to the first two decades of the 20th century.
Frenchy’s vardo is extremely artistic and whimsical, including a door painted by her good friend, which she describes as having magical qualities to it.
Her tiny home definitely does have a magical charm to it, one that is hard to ignore once seeing how intricately detailed and aesthetically pleasing this old-fashioned caravan truly is.
This gorgeous caravan house is set on nine to 10 acres of land and is a part of a communal space. Frenchy’s caravan has no internet connection and has full power in deciding when to connect herself to a computer.
French’s tiny home is full of character, much like herself, and also completely sustainable and off-grid.
I think it’s amazing how Frenchy decided to make a life for herself in exactly the way she wanted. She's one of those rare free spirits that reminds us that there is an alternative to the everyday work routines many of us fall into — and she definitely proves it's a colorful, unforgettable lifestyle!
