When it comes to couples and marriage, there is always more than what meets the eye. Sometimes it's the couples who bicker the loudest and tease the most, that love each other the deepest. On the flip side, sometimes it's couples who appear like the picture-perfect ideal of marriage that can have the most shocking secrets.
In BBDO's new heartbreaking 360 degree ad, they ask you the viewer to discover the hidden signs of domestic violence. A wife and husband have coffee together at the kitchen table. Her face is slightly turned away from him. Using your mouse on a computer or your finger on your phone, drag and pull the video to explore the setting.
You'll see a stoic husband and a wife who seems perfectly fine. But upon further inspection, the immaculate scene is tarnished when its revealed that the wife has a terribly bruised face.
The video begs you the viewer to: "Do not look the other way. Nobody wants to witness someone else's tragedy." While the ad was created in Russia, it's important to remember that in the United States 4 million women will be physically and sexually assaulted by their partners each year.
