America's popular singing show The Voice never ceases to deliver jaw-dropping talent, as season 11 has shown.
Take Billy Gilman, for example. The former child country star shocked the judges with his voice during the audition round, with Adam and Miley quickly spinning around in hopes they would be Gilman's coach.
And it doesn't seem like much has changed by the sound of Gilman's performance during Monday's Top 10 Night.
He chose to perform a cover of “Anything" by Martina McBride, and started off on stage with the lights dimmed low.
As Gilman softly sings into the mic, you can see his eyes glistening, giving away that the song truly means something to him — and that everyone is about to be blown away. And less than one minute into the song, the drums of the band start picking up, and you can feel Gilman's energy rising with every beat.
As he grabs the mic again, his voice is much louder and more powerful, bringing the performance to a whole new level of intensity.
The rest of the song is filled with soft verses and strong notes held out for what feels like a lifetime, and the judges reactions throughout the video reflect what the rest of us are feeling — complete and utter astonishment.
