Experts Say These Simple Brainteasers Can Quickly Improve Your Memory!

Everyone always likes to say "practice makes perfect!" I knew that idiom applied to sports and working out, but I never thought it meant keeping your brain sharp, too!

It turns out your brain needs exercise just as much as your body does, and if you do tests like these every day you'll be able to keep your mind sharp. While you may have already graduated from high school or college, that doesn't mean you should stop working out!

I've got to admit, when I first started training my brain with questions like the ones below, I got just about all of them wrong. But after a couple of months of working out my mind, I've actually found my comprehension skills getting faster. Just because you've got a degree from school doesn't mean you should stop learning! I read faster and make better decisions thanks to pondering questions like these every day!

It's good to keep your mind stimulated, not only will it enhance your memory and thinking skills, but it will also lower your chances of diseases like Alzheimer's when you get older.

If you keep to your schedule of brain training, you'll eventually have a perfect body as well as a perfect mind. Questions like these are like eating a protein bar after an intense workout.

It's like the Beachbody 21 day fix, Insanity, or P90x for your intelligence! It'll take some time and effort, but it's worth it in the end!

Go through each word below and say what color the word is. Don't say the actual word, say what COLOR that word is.

This exercise will help improve your recognition and memory skills.

We bet you can't answer the NEXT question…

This picture features two circles in the middle of a ring of larger and smaller circles. Which center circle is larger.?

Click NEXT for the answer. It's crazy… I had to get my ruler out.

Do you see the left or the right as being larger?

They're actually the same size! The eyes start to play a trick on us. The visual information our brain receives is less precise because perspective begins to play a trick on our mind.

Visual puzzles like this help our brain to stay sharp and see past illusions.

If kettle A holds 24 ounces of water, how much does kettle B hold?

Even though kettle B looks larger, its spout is only half the size of kettle A. No matter how much water is poured into kettle B, it'll all leave through the spout.

The NEXT riddle is insane. I wouldn't have solved it in a billion years!

Solve the riddle below.

Alice came across a lion and a unicorn in a forest of forgetfulness and she asked them what day it was. Unfortunately, they're both liars.

The lion lies every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, and the other days he speaks the truth. The unicorn lies on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, but he speaks the truth on other days.

They answered her thusly:
Lion: Yesterday I was lying.
Unicorn: So was I.

On which day did they say that?
