Fracking Interview Gets Intense As Host And Guest Can’t Agree On Anything

When Fox News host Stuart Varney met up with anti-fracking activist Josh Fox, it was an inevitable perfect storm that was obviously set to turn into a shouting match.

Varney opens the interview explaining that the EPA specifically said that they "did not find evidence that these mechanisms [fracking] have led to widespread, systemic impacts on drinking water." In spite of that conclusion, Josh argued against it immediately.

Josh, well-known for his hatred of fracking, accuses the EPA of betraying their own science and of finding evidence that proves that fracking is bad, but still publicly supporting it.

Varney explains that when he bought a piece of property 12 years ago, it was a joke in the area that if you turned your water tap on, you could light it on fire. Josh instantly shoots him down, and at the 4:14 mark of the video he accuses the proper Englishman of something that instantly kills the interview.

Whether or not you agree with Josh Fox's anti-fracking sentiment, or if you think Varney is the correct one on this issue, Josh Fox's accusation is pretty intense for someone who, himself, has been known to obfuscate the truth in order to push forward his own agenda. It seems pretty lucky that he didn't say that to Bill O'Reilly or Megyn Kelly, or else this might have been a very different story!

What did you think of Josh Fox's accusation? Was he acting childish or did Varney overreact? What would you do if Josh Fox accused you of that? Let us know in the comments below!
