Pandas have been making the headlines like crazy this week, so we figured now was as good as a time as any to share a how-to video for the perfect DIY panda manicure to celebrate these little black and white fur babies.
Back in June, China's Ke Lin gave birth to a couple of babies that instantly won the hearts of the world over. And in the last month alone, more cubs were born in China’s Sichuan province and at the Smithsonian's National Zoo after ongoing breeding efforts to ensure the survival of the endangered species.
So what better time to rock a panda-themed manicure? And this one's not too difficult either! You'll just need some black and white nail polish, a dotting tool, and a striper to give your pandas their "fuzzy bear" look.
When using the striper to create the fur effect, the most important tip is to point the striper away from the black part to get the desired effect. The detail finger (the middle finger with the panda face) is going to be the trickiest, but the majority of this design can be done by nail artists of all skill levels. So go ahead and panda-fy your next manicure!
