Ashley Greenhalgh was celebrating her 21st birthday along with her high school graduation. Her sister Courtney invited a few of their close friends and family, then she got out the camera to record the gift openings. Greenhalgh's boyfriend Danny Griffiths was there, too. He had gotten her much more than a few presents.
One gift was a teddy bear, the other was a diamond promise ring. Greenhalgh exploded with joy.
"It's a ring, I'm going to be married!" Greenhalgh squealed the top of her lungs. She covers her face as she giggles with joy. Then, Griffiths got down on one knee and asked her to be his wife. Her beautiful reaction has totally gone viral.
The couple and their two families had been talking about marriage for a while. Greenhalgh knew the promise ring was coming, she just didn't know when. The two plan on getting married officially in about four years. Griffiths and Greenhalgh plan on getting jobs, working hard, and saving up to begin their future together. Griffiths also plans on getting Greenhalgh a more official ring. Sounds like a pretty good plan to me!
"I couldn't be prouder as a big sister," Courtney told Inside Edition. "She's accomplished so much. The whole world is in front of her, and she can do whatever she wants."
