One of Abby Nuccio's favorite holiday traditions is posing in a wedding dress in a Lee's Summit, Missouri, bridal store.
There, she stands at the window as a mannequin in Wedding Expressions' fabulous dresses, waving at people passing by. Abby says that she feels like she's in a fairy tale.
"I get to be a princess. I don't know when I'll be able to do that, so," she explained.
But this year's event was extra-special for Abby. Not only did she get to model a beautiful red wedding gown for Wedding Expressions, but she got to stand next to her boyfriend, Kevin Carey! The two met on a plane coming from Denver three years ago.
The two looked like a storybook couple in the shop window — and little did Abby know that her fairy tale dreams were about to come true!
In front of onlookers, which included their families and friends, Kevin got down on one knee and proposed to Abby — who tearfully accepted.
What an artful and romantic proposal! The holiday season is meant for love and joy, and we can't think of any other proposal more fitting for this time of year!
