This simple drawing accompanied by a single question appeared on a math test administered in 16 countries. Worldwide, only 10% of test takers managed to get it right. In the United States, only 4% of test takers were able to answer the question correctly – meaning a whopping 96% of all American test takers got it dead wrong!
