Middle School Students Help A Crying Classmate Finish Her Song

We often hear about bullying in schools, but not as much about children being kind to one another. Yet, there are many students who lend a hand to their classmates in need.

Whether it's helping one out during a bout of stage fright while performing at a talent show or sticking up for a classmate getting picked on, it's always incredible to see kids helping each other out.

That was also the case for the young singer below, who broke down while performing Carrie Underwood's 2009 ballad "Temporary Home."

"Old man, hospital bed / The room is filled with people he loves / And he whispers don't cry for me / I'll see you all someday," she sang right before she started crying.

Her classmates, however, didn't laugh at her. Instead, they gave her a much-needed helping hand and sang the rest of the lyrics.

"Near the end of her song, Chy starts crying because she recently lost a grandmother who she loved dearly and she started thinking about her. When Chy started crying, instead of laughing at her or making fun of her, our students started singing when she could not!" the video owner told Love What Matters about the moment.
