Professional dogs take their jobs very seriously.
Service dogs are crucial parts of the lives of people who need them. Police dogs have very specific duties on the force, and are essential to the unit. Bomb-sniffing dogs' importance goes without saying, and the same thing for security dogs at airports.
However, sometimes our household pups think that they have really important jobs to do. Some dogs think that it's their responsibility to take out the garbage when, really, we'd prefer that they don't get anywhere near the garbage. Other times, our silly pups think that they're on laundry duty.
This pup? He thinks that it's his sole responsibility to make sure the gate opens and closes to his liking, and that his hard work is protecting the premises. I do have to say that this little pup's enthusiasm, energy, and dedication are something we should all strive for in life and love — if only he were actually accomplishing something!
Let's just let this adorable little guy keep thinking that he's doing a great job, shall we? He's simply too sweet! Clearly, this furry gate keeper loves what he does, and has tons of fun doing it. Who knows… maybe he does do a good job of keeping unwanted people away from his precious gate. I just know that this little one is certainly not pulling that big old gate all on his own!
