There's nothing like jumping into a nice cool pool on a hot summer day. With the sun shining and the humidity making the heat even more unbearable, any body of water will do!
Even if it's just to dip your toes or float on a raft, an afternoon at the pool is so lovely. Just remember to wear your sunscreen!
One of my favorite things to do at a pool is to dive in. When I was younger, I used to get out of the pool as soon as I dove in, just so I can leap into the clear water all over again.
It was even better when there was a really nice springboard to really get some height. That feeling of launching yourself high into the air, only to splash down into the refreshing water, is what summer dreams are made of.
This pup knows exactly what I'm talking about.
When this little Westie jumps into the pool with Mom, she immediately picks him up out of the water and sets him on the patio.
What this little pooch does next is so cute! He's clearly having the best time cooling off from all the lounging in the sun. What a great way for a pup to get some exercise! He's definitely going to sleep well later on.
