No one wants to talk about natural disasters. But unfortunately they have to be talked about, because they happen whether we want them to or not.
From tornadoes to earthquakes to hurricanes and tsunamis, there is nothing more devastating than something no one can control.
But the very thin silver lining in it all is when people — and animals — are saved from these disasters.
In this video, taken shortly after Hurricane Matthew struck North Carolina, we get to see one of those silver lining moments when a horse named Bob is saved from waist-deep waters.
This horse must have been so nervous, afraid, and completely unable to find a way out. But these determined everyday heroes decided they could not leave him behind.
Through the struggle of this video, you can imagine how amazing these people felt, and how relieved Bob the horse felt, when they finally reached solid ground again.
Although this is a beautiful moment and a heroic save, there are still so many people and animals out there struggling with the effects of Hurricane Matthew.
All of our love and support is the least we can give to those who are in need of a silver lining!
