It's that time of year when deer and other forest animals come out from the shadows of the trees and become more visible to people like you and me. Sometimes, they appear in our backyards, grazing. Sometimes we see them close to the roads — hopefully not too close to traffic.
But it's also the season when hunting becomes a popular sport in certain parts of the country. Hunters, though restricted by laws and regulations, shoot and kill many of these animals.
After watching this clip, it could come as a surprise that one hunter pulled a totally unexpected move and rescued a deer instead of killing the struggling animal.
The deer got her leg stuck in a fence and was clearly frantic, desperate to be released.
Upon seeing the hunter in full garb, she panicked and kicked harder.
The hunter approached her calmly, grabbed her around the middle, and carefully pulled her leg out of the fence. By this time, the deer was surprisingly calm, almost as if she recognized that the hunter was trying to help her and had no interest in harming her.
She even barely moved as he carried her all the way to the camera that he set up to show that she's doing just fine! He then released her back into the wild, where she belonged.
Please SHARE to thank this hunter for his brave and unexpected actions!
