As someone who's never built anything more complex than a gingerbread house, I'm always impressed by the construction skills of others.
Whether it be a chicken coop, a porch swing, or just a simple coffee table, I'm a huge fan of Do-It-Yourself — or "DIY" — projects, and I love discovering new ones online.
But when I found this particular project, it wasn't so much the craftsmanship that stunned me, but the personal story and hilarious twist.
With just one clever name, this ordinary doghouse was taken to a whole other level — one I think most wives could easily get behind!
What do you think about this funny little doghouse? Is this something you'd have in your backyard — or do you tend to keep your furry friends and significant other indoors?

When this clever crafter decided to build a doghouse for their two sweet pups, they thought it might be best to make the structure multi-functional...
So, using some old lumber, they made their frame a little larger than an ordinary doghouse would need to be.
Sure, with two dogs, it needed to be larger anyway — but this pint-sized house was intended for other residents as well.
They dubbed it the "Husband-Sized Doghouse" — and sure enough, this well-built little abode could easily fit a few dogs in here!
They built solid walls and insulated it very well.
They made a large opening in front — providing just enough space for crawling in with one's tail tucked!
They laid soft carpeting and installed an air conditioning unit. They also wired in a motion-activated light.
Their pups watched as they tacked on the roof felt.
Next, the "Husband-Sized Doghouse" got some cement fiber board siding.
Finally, the doghouse (or hubby-house) was complete!
Hopefully it will only be enjoyed by the furry members of the family.
They seem very excited for their new private residence. I wonder if the husband is as thrilled?
