There are days when you hear stories of kittens being hurt by their owners and you wonder why the world is the way it is. But then you hear about the people who rescue these animals and your faith is restored.
Richie Ridolfi was doing his job by patrolling the New Jersey and Pennsylvania border when he saw something terrible. He witnessed a person throw a cat out of a car window. Thankfully, Ridolfi was there and able to do something before the kitten was seriously injured. He immediately raced into action to rescue the little cat.
He jumped over the bridge's barrier in order to grab the little girl. After rescuing the kitten, he took her to the vet and paid for her health care!
He named her Bridgette, after their chance encounter. Like this pup who was thrown from a car window, Bridgette is now adopted and with a loving family! Though, judging from his smile in the video below, I'm sure Bridgette will be getting some visits from her savior Ridolfi, as well!
