There's nothing more heartwarming than a puppy finding his forever home, even if that journey is a little longer than most.
Whether it's the story of an incredible dog rescued from a mill now leading a totally glamorous life, anytime someone can improve the life of an overlooked animal, they're truly making the world a better place.
So when I heard the rescue story of Stryker, I knew I'd be moved to tears!
This puppy's unbelievable tale begins with a "dog-napping" from the Hillsborough County Pet Resource Center by two local teens.
After authorities were alerted, Deputy Jennifer Bordonaro arrived on the scene — who managed to track down the culprits, save the kidnapped puppy, and safely return him to the Center.
But Deputy Bordonaro just couldn't seem to put the case to rest… Charmed by this beautiful little pup, the officer decided to adopt him, vowing to protect him forever.
