Animal rescuers from the Stray Rescue of St. Louis came across a puzzling sight when they were combing through abandoned homes.
Randy Grim and his team were searching an old home in the Washington Park, IL, area when they stumbled upon an old, dilapidated house in the woods. The house was in very bad shape, with debris everywhere. But under and around them, they heard the familiar cries of puppies.
Around the house, they found two tiny puppies. But then they heard one still stuck under a pile of waste. In the exhilarating footage, Randy and a woman on his crew debate about how to retrieve the poor little guy, finally resorting to diving through a hole and grab him. But there was one issue: the pup was stuck inside a pipe.
The woman pulls the pipe from the pile, and sure enough, the creature is stuck inside, whimpering. Both she and Randy can hardly believe it. Not only were they able to rescue this pup's siblings before the frigid cold temperatures set in, but they were able to find this fellow, too!
Moments later, he's released from his trap, safely in Randy's arms and ready to be taken to the shelter. The Border Collie mixes are being taken care of and are just about ready for adoption! And in honor of the cold weather, they were aptly named Frozen, Chilly, and Ice!
If you're thankful these three lucky puppies are alive and well, please SHARE!
